Visit Nike

The Nike European Logistics Campus consists of three distribution centres in Laakdal, a distribution center in Ham and a fifth one in Herentals. The campus coordinates all logistical activities between 200 factories and 200.000 shipping addresses. All Nike shoes and clothes that are sold in Europe, the Middle East or Africa, pass through the European Logistics Campus first. So yes, it’s worth a visit with your students. Experienced employees guide you through the footwear or apparel distribution centers. An interesting (and free!) tour that shows you the day to day life in the distribution center and how it operates. Asking questions is allowed, of course!

Hint

Combine the visit of the distribution center with half a day of interactive learning in the LITC for an exciting, full day school trip with a mix of theory and practice.

Bring along:

  • Identity card, closed shoes
  • Optional: safety shoes and fluo vest (also available at the front desk)

“Our students found it very interesting to see how the famous Nike products get from the factory to the client through the Nike Distribution Center in Laakdal, one of the biggest in Europe. The guides are employed in the distribution center themselves, so they offer an amazing insight in the day to day business of the Nike DC. After the guided tour, our students got the opportunity to do order picking and stack goods on pallets themselves. Fun!”
